Over 110 years of automotive history under one roof.

The only classic car museum in Foz do Iguaçu — and one of the most complete in Brazil.

Foz Cars was born out of a passion that could no longer fit in a garage.

There are approximately 140 vehicles — cars, motorcycles, and trucks — collected over decades by someone who truly understands that certain objects don't age: they mature. Each piece in our collection is a living slice of world automotive history.

It all started with a 1948 Mercury.

The story of a collection that grew into a museum.

It was the early 2000s when Paulo de Oliveira Gouvea came across a 1948 Mercury Eight. He took it home.

At that moment, Paulo did not know he was taking the first step of a collection that would later occupy 4,400 m². The second came soon after: a 1956 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight. And then another.

When passion becomes a collection

Collecting classic cars is not a simple hobby. Each vehicle carries a history and requires restoration. Paulo built his collection piece by piece.

Over time, the collection grew. Today, highlights include the 1910 Flanders Racy Roadster and Paulo's favorite: the 1959 Cadillac De Ville Convertible.

The decision to open the doors

At a certain point, it became clear that this collection couldn't exist just for one person. Paulo realized there was a responsibility to history.

The decision was natural: open the museum to the public. So that the history wouldn't stay locked in a garage.

Why Foz do Iguaçu?

The choice was no accident. Foz do Iguaçu is a city visited by the whole world. Foz Cars arrived to be another reason to stay an extra day.

Who is Foz Cars for?

  • For those who grew up hearing about these cars.
  • For those who didn't even know they needed this experience.
  • For kids who will wonder how a car could be so beautiful.
  • For families looking for a different attraction.
  • For collectors and gearheads.

Foz Cars is for everyone who believes certain things deserve to be preserved.
